Most hospitals require patients to fill out numerous paper-based forms during the admissions process. This process can be simplified by using Honeywell's EasyDL-enabled bar code scanners to scan the bar code found on the patient's government-issued identification card. The data collected from bar code can be parsed and used to automatically populate electronic admission forms, leading to a shorter admissions process with fewer errors related to data entry.
